Before: one content bucket

February 2025

For a year I ran the channel's existing bucket, How Exactly Would You Fix This? Then it started underperforming.

After: 4 buckets that worked

So I figured out 4–5 new content buckets to attract the right audience. These four performed best.

Challenge

The channel ran on one core content bucket. To keep growing, it needed new formats people would actually choose to watch, without losing the audience the existing format had built, and the content still had to bring in leads for the video editing cohort.

Objective

Work out why the best videos worked, whether it was the hook, the format or the storytelling, and turn that into repeatable formats. Own every video end to end: research, scripting, editing and publishing.

Results

Went from running one content bucket to building my own: Yapping and Tutorials. 16 of the top 21 posts over the last 180 days were videos I developed and produced within a 4-person team, bringing in 151.9K followers and 26.5M organic views. I helped grow the channel from 190K to 700K+ followers, with 30M+ views in strong months and 30K+ leads for the video editing cohort.
